老鼠粉


家婆以前种稻,轮到收割或插秧季节,村子里有稻田的人都会来帮忙,可见gotong-royong的精神不是马来社会才有。

当村人都来帮忙的时候,主人就负责煮点心给大家吃。家婆说她最常煮的就是老鼠粉,老鼠粉是自己做的。用米磨成浆,压去水分,加一点薯粉,搓匀后就煮一大锅水,上面放一个有很多洞的用具,把米团放在上面压成一条条的老鼠粉,老鼠粉掉进热水成型后掏起再冲冷水。

老鼠粉还要加上上汤,大头菜肉碎、青菜、葱油等等。家婆把煮好的老鼠粉装在两个特大号的锅,然后挑去稻田里给大伙儿吃。轮到其他村民插秧或收割时,家婆也去帮忙,点心就由那家人负责。

前天家婆上来办一点事,也带来一包她亲手做的老鼠粉。不过现在是用现成的粘米粉做的,不再是大阵仗的用米磨成浆。

可能是因为没有添加硼砂的关系,这种家庭式老鼠粉跟外面买的最大分别就是它没有韧性,但比较能吃到米的味道。

家里没有大头菜,我用冬菇肉碎代替,少了那一点大头菜,味道便没有家婆煮的好吃。

清清淡淡,妈妈式烹调,小孩子以后就会怀念了。。。
再加一些肉丸,鱼饼,也不错哦!!

面团可以加点澄面粉,做出来的老鼠粉会比较爽口,也比较滑!

很久以前都发生过老鼠粉中毒事件,自己做的会吃的比较安全与安心。

我很喜欢吃老鼠粉但我住的地方就是没机会吃。。。。。只能等年尾会洗马才有机会吃。。。。。。谁能告诉我材料及做法???????????先谢啦。。。。

我也不知道真正的做法,相信是相当大阵仗的,假如你一个人吃就不值得亲手做,还是等回西马后才吃吧。

Dear teacher,

I am Malaysian, who currently stay in U.S. I guess may be you are unable to learn all this tideous matters, you will suggest we go back to Malaysia and eat it puas puas.

But,sorry teacher, i don't agree with you, because, may be one day, you really miss this kind of homamade food, but you are regret you cannot find someone to teach you, then how?

Learn it, so that, you are proud that althougt you are a busy teacher, you still able to learn anything under the sun,

I graduated from Rahman College, and i was thinking no need to cook or learn anything after married, cause i can buy anytime. But who knows, i am now stay so far away, and if really miss malaysia food, i just learn it through internet, and try to cook it myself.

I believe, you can do it, teacher.

Thanks for reading my blog and thanks for your suggestion.The main factor which push me to learn something is my children. When my children like certain food, by hook or by cook I'll try to learn to make it. One day when my children suddenly crazy over laoshufen,I'll be crazy hunting for the recipe.
